Are you interested in fostering in South Gloucestershire, but aren’t sure what’s involved? Our fostering information evenings are really helpful. These events enable you to talk directly with foster carers and social workers over a cuppa. You can ask any questions you may have and we’ll give you all the information you need to decide if fostering is right for you.
Come along to our next information evening:
Date: Thursday 5th October 2017
Time: Drop in between 7pm – 9pm
Venue: South Gloucestershire Council Offices, Badminton Road, Yate, BS37 5AF
Our fostering information evenings are very informal, they’re a simple way to find out more information about fostering, the types of children we look after and help you consider how fostering would fit into your own family and lifestyle.
At the moment there are not enough foster carers in South Gloucestershire to ensure that each child and young person can be placed within their community close to their school and family. We want to change this by making sure every child has the chance to be looked after by local foster carers who can support a child or young person at such a critical time in their lives.
If you decide that fostering is something you are interested in taking further, we can arrange the next step with you, or alternatively we can give you all the information and time you need to consider fostering further. Please call Emma on 01454 866423 or fill in an online Enquiry Form
We look forward to seeing you there!
