Albert was born on 7 June 1897 (Baptised Christ Church Downend on 8 September 1897).

Albert served on HMS New Zealand from February 1915 to November 1916, and was present at the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916. He died on 6/12/1916 from Disease.

Albert is commemorated on the Christ Church Downend Memorial and the Staple Hill (Page Park) Memorial.
