Further information:

On the 1901 Census, the family lived at Avening Green, Tortworth. At the time of the Census, Frank (Francis) had 6 brothers and sisters. His mother died in 1909, and his father married again in 1910.

Frank married Ann Elizabeth Barton, 2nd Quarter 1911 Thornbury District. Ann was born in Tortworth and on the 1911 Census was living in Tortworth/Falfield (her father was a Lawyer). I have not found a conclusive match for Frank on the 1911 Census. The Bedminster address is recorded as his wife’s contact address on the Pension Card (dated 1917).

Frank served with the 2nd/4th Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment and was Killed in Action on 21/12/1916.
