Frederick Thomas Ralph was born in 1892 the son of Charles and Ellen Ralph of Main Road, Coalpit Heath.

Frederick served with the 2nd/6th Battalion of the Gloucestershire Regiment. He was killed on the 2nd December 1917 and is remembered on the Cambrai Memorial Ref: Panel 6) Louveral, France.

Frederick Thomas Ralph is remembered on the Chipping Sodbury and District War Memorial Cottage Hospital board, now at Yate and District Heritage Centre under Coalpit Heath.
