Further information:
Henry had three children, two sons and a daughter and he became a widower in 1937. It seems that he followed his son, Charles Henry Thomas Hathaway, from Hammersmith to work at the Parnall factory in Yate. To be eligible to work at the factory it appears that he took 8 years off his age as the records state that he was 58 years of age at the time of his death. However, census data indicates that he was born on the 26th June 1874 making him 66 years old.
He was a greengrocer street trader like his father, Henry before him. His stall was registered: 88 Curb stalls, Shepherd's Bush Market.
