Whereabouts Victor lived after 1911 is unknown, but he possibly moved to the Patchway area prior to joining up, or he found alternative employment in Patchway, as no direct link has been found. In 1911, his future wife Lottie (or Lotty) Hannah (Nee Pincott) lived in Redfield near St George. They were married 2nd Quarter 1915, Bristol. Victor and Lottie had one son Edwin Colston Cordy born 28.12.1915. After the war, Lottie married an Albert Barnett in 1919.

Victor died on 1/08/1917 (Killed in Action), age either 23 or 24.
