Wilfred served with the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Charlotte of Wales's (Royal Berkshire Regiment) as Private 50583. He was killed on the 26th August 1918 and is buried at the Berlin South-Western Cemetery, Germany (Ref: XVI. C. 9)
