Filton - St Peter's Church
This memorial is located within the grounds of St Peter’s Church. Inside the church there are two further memorials significant to Filton. One names victims of the daylight raid on the aircraft factory in September 1940 and the other is a memorial to all employees of the aircraft works who lost their lives in the First and Second World War.
Some of the bodies of those who lost their lives on the 25th September 1940 were taken to this church to be identified by relatives and colleagues.
