Tytherington - St James's Church
This war memorial is in the form of a Celtic cross is in the churchyard of St James’s Church. It contains the names of those who lost their lives in both the First and Second World Wars and the inscription reads:
” To the glory of God in thankfulness for the victory and peace and in ever living honour of the men of this parish who gave their lives for their King and Country in the European War 1914 – 1918 and whose names are inscribed hereon.”
