Yate - St Mary's Church Lych Gate
There are two memorial plaques mounted in the lych gate to the church. Colonel Burges of Ridge House, with the Rector of St. Mary’s Church, James Madden Ford unveiled St. Mary’s memorial lych gate on 2nd January 1921 in memory of those who fought and died during the Frist World War.
The names of those who fought and died in the Second World War were added later.
