At 9.40pm buglers &amp; cornet players will perform bugle call \u2018Majesty\u2019 at selected beacon sites, announcing the lighting of 2,000 beacons across the UK and Commonwealth at 9.45pm. There will be various stalls, an inflatable assault course, bouncy castle, tombola and a fancy-dress competition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bradley Stoke<\/strong> between Friday 3 June to Sunday 5 June at the Bradley Stoke Community Festival in the Jubilee Centre with picnic in the park for families on Friday 3 June, the main festival on Saturday 4 June,\u00a0and a 10k run, skatepark competition and bowls taster session on Sunday 5 June.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kingswood <\/strong>on Sunday 5 June at Kingswood Park for the Kingswood Picnic pageant in the park from 11am to 4pm. This community event includes arts and crafts, activities and a big TV to watch the celebrations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Staple Hill<\/strong> on Saturday 4 June at Page Park\u2019s Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee celebration from 11am to 5pm with music on the bandstand, food and craft stalls, children rides and entertainment and a Jubilee fancy dress competition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thornbury <\/strong>on Friday 3 June at the Thornbury High Street Party from 10am to 5pm with stalls, vintage cars, tractors, live music and street food provided by local businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Many events in South Gloucestershire and the nearby area have been added to the national Jubilee events webpage. These include school holiday craft sessions with a Jubilee theme, as well as a Royal themed coffee morning and specific Jubilee events. Many of the library Jubilee activities are free but they do require to be booked in advance.
