Seaplane Station (Dundee), Royal Air Force.

Frank switched from one branch of the Services to another, aerial reconnaissance, flying the seaplanes. With these new skills he joined the new seaplane base at Stannergate east of Dundee from mid August 1918. This turned out to be just for the last month of his young life, before he was apparently lost in action over the North Sea. His burial was then in Dundee’s Eastern Necropolis. He is also commemorated on his parents’ grave.
