Frederick James Woodham was born in 1899 in Badminton. His parents were Charles and Fannie Woodham. He was brother to George, Willie and Dennis. His father was a shepherd and had been born in Marshfield. His mother lived at Fern Cottage, Badminton
Frederick enlisted in Bristol and joined the 1st Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment and became a corporal. Fredrick died on July 10th 1918 at the age of 19, he was buried in Le Vertannoy British Cemetery in France
