Fred was born in 1886 1st Quarter – baptised St Mary’s Church, Bitton 12/02/1886.
On the 1911 Census, Fred lived with his parents and brother Evan. His four older brothers and sisters had left home. His father died at the end of 1916, and on the pension card, his mother was living in Knowle, and died in 1922.
Fred is commemorated on the Upton Cheyney United Reform church memorial and the Bitton, St Mary’s Church memorial.
