Further information:

Fredericks father Albert was a Farmer in and around Weston near Bath before moving to Torneys Court, Tadwick (close by Cold Ashton) in the early 1900's. Frederick does not show up on the 1901 or 1911 census, but he was living in Brixton in 1908 and married Mary Rubinia (nee Kendall) (Born Bath 1879) in 1910 in Chipping Sodbury district.
Frederick joined the Territorial Force (6th Battalion London Regiment) in 1908, and continued to serve with them until June 1916. When war broke out he re-enlisted with the 6th Battalion London Regiment as a private (No. 3160). He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant on 29/08/1915 and went to France with his unit on 17/10/1915.
