George Daniels was born in Tytherington to parents, Thomas and Mary Daniels. He was brother to Hector, John and Ellen, in the 1911 Census he is listed age 19 living at Hawkins Farm in Tytherington. It appears he may have been the youngest of 11 children. His occupation is listed as a Delver (someone who uses a spade) in the local limestone quarry.
