Henry was born in 1872 (Baptised St James, Mangotsfield 12/05/1872). He married Sarah Ann (nee Sheppard) at St Mary's in Fishponds on 11/10/1896)
Henry served with the 3rd Labour Battalion, Royal Engineers and Died from the effect of Burns on 18/01/1916. It is likely that Henry died as a result of an accident rather than enemy action. Henry's son James also died during the war.
