John Pelham Scull was the son of James and Mary Ann Scull of Whittucks Road, Hanham.
He was a Lance Corporal in the 10th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment and was Killed in Action at the battle of Ypres on June 25th 1917

John is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial (Panel 8) at Ypres, Belgium

John's name is not actually on the Hanham memorial, it is said his mother walked past the memorial everyday and did not wish to see it written there. His Great Niece Mary Younie has requested that he be remembered here
