Percy was Baptised 27/5/1894 at St Saviour's, Coalpit Heath, Bristol. His father and brother were coal miners. Many from the South Glos area sought work in the South Wales coalfields prior to WW1

Percy served with the 8th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment and died on 1/7/1918 (captured by the Germans and died from wounds shortly after)
