Second Lieutenant Ralph Neville Staight served in the 3rd Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry, formerly 10th (Prince of Wales's Own Royal) Hussars and died on Saturday 24 March 1917 aged 26 yrs. He is buried in Beaurains Road Cemetery, Beaurains, Pas de Calais, France. He was the son of Stephen Neville Staight and Margaret Staight of The Battlefields, Bath. He was wounded at Ypres 1915.
