Sidney was born in 1893 (1st Quarter) and Baptised at Kingswood Holy Trinity on 8 October 1893. Sidney's father died in 1908 and his mother married a William Golding in 1913. Martha died in 1939 aged 84.
Sidney served with the Royal Field Artillery ('D' Battery, 88th Brigade) and was Killed in Action on 21/02/1918.
Sidney is commemorated on the Downend Christ Church Memorial and the Staple Hill Page Park Memorial.
