Stanley was born in 1892 (1st Quarter) and Baptised at St. Barnabas Church, Warmley on 3 April 1892. He married Edith Mary (nee Williams) in the 2nd Quarter of 1913.
Stanley served with the 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards and was Killed in Action on 21 October 1915 in France and Flanders.
