Further information:

John was married to Clara Pullin of 2 Orchard Lea, Bitton, Bristol.

John Wallace Pullin served with the 3rd/4th Battalion, The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment) and was Killed in Action in October 1917 age 27.

Remembered under the Bitton - St Mary's Church memorial and the Upton Cheyney - United Reform Church Memorial as W. PULLEN. As his fathers name was also John, he was probably known as Wallace. The records indicate Pullin as the correct surname and a mistake was probably made when recording him on the memorials.
