William George Harrison served with the 13th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment transf. to 127831 Labour Corps. Attestation and medical papers - discharged 1917 having contracted TB while on service in France. He died in November 1918, both his parents died the following year. They are buried together with his brother Fred Thomas L Harrison and sister Annie Elizabeth Harrison, in Christ Church. He was one of 6 brothers and 3 sisters
