Further information:
It appears as though William's parents separated sometime after he was born in 1898, as William Senior is living with an Eliza by the time of the 1901 Census and Florence is living alone. Eliza was still with William Senior by the time of the 1911 Census.
After leaving School, William probably worked in the Patchway area, but the details of his occupation and where he worked are unknown.
William served with the 8th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.
