South Gloucestershire residents can report issues online through the report it pages on our website, which is often quicker and more convenient due to its 24/7 availability.
You can report issues, problems or suggestions by visiting www.southglos.gov.uk/do-report Here you can report a range of issues including missed bin collections, request a new bin or bag, potholes, street lighting, suspected abuse and much more.
We have recently launched three new online services which give access to details about your council tax, housing benefit and council tax reduction and business rates.
My Council Tax Online is available via www.southglos.gov.uk/mycounciltax
My Housing Benefit Online is available via www.southglos.gov.uk/myhousingbenefit
My Business Rates Online is available via www.southglos.gov.uk/mybusinessrates
Register now to:
• view your council tax or business rates account to see how much you have paid and how much you owe for any year
• set up or amend a direct debit to pay your council tax or business rates
• view your current award of housing benefit or council tax reduction
• check the council tax or business rates band of any property within South Gloucestershire.
To access My Council Tax Online you will need a password called an online reference key which you will find on your council tax bill if you have received one recently. Otherwise please email citizen.access@southglos.gov.uk or telephone 01454 868003.
To access My Housing Benefit Online you will need your name, date of birth, claim reference number and National Insurance number.
To access My Business Rates Online you will need your billing number and an online reference key which you will find on your business rates bill if you have received one recently. Otherwise please email citizen.access@southglos.gov.uk or telephone 01454 867700.
