From May 2026 we will offer a new, free fortnightly collection for adult hygiene waste and children’s disposable nappies.

This is to help residents manage their waste when we move to three-weekly black bin collections.

The new service can be used for disposable nappies and incontinence products including stoma and colostomy bags. It is not suitable for menstrual products.

We will continue to offer separate collections for infectious or potentially infectious clinical waste.

You will need to register to receive the new service. Once approved, we will send you a fortnightly collection calendar and a pack of special hygiene and nappy collection sacks to use. You will also be able to check your collection dates via our app and website.

To express your interest in the new service, complete the online form.
