In the 1901 and 1911 census William was living in Falfield. His father was a Postman and his mother looked after to Sorting Office in Falfield. From the census and baptism records the Organ’s were a large family with a total of thirteen children, five boys and eight girls of which ten are buried in St George’s churchyard.

William served with the 2nd/6th Battalion, Gloucester Regiment and died on 02/12/1917.
