Out and about

Walking helps you to get fitter, meet people, and explore your local area. Ideally we should all exercise briskly for at least 30 minutes each day and aim to reach 10,000 steps.

To help you on your way the Walking for Health team have produced Out and About – local walks between one and three miles. The walks start and finish at libraries in Kingswood, Yate, Filton, Patchway, Staple Hill and Cadbury Heath. The routes are available to photocopy at these libraries or to download from www.southglos.gov.uk/outandabout

Many of the routes are on hard pavements, suitable for those with walking aids and buggies.
