Low cost computer scheme

In December 2015 a scheme launched across South Gloucestershire to help people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford a personal computer (PC). A range of starter desktop and laptop PCs  available at special prices to any resident who is on low income, receiving certain benefits or experiencing other disadvantages. The equipment which is available through an IT provider is professionally refurbished and ready to use.

The scheme has now been updated with a minimum specification of Intel i3 processors and both Windows 10 Home and Microsoft Office included with all options as standard. Both desktop and laptop systems are also priced the same, there’s a choice of three price/performance levels starting at just £99* which includes free delivery and a 6 month warranty as standard. The scheme is also open to any registered UK charity.
