Wapley - St Peter's Church
This war memorial was erected in the churchyard at St Peter’s Church after WWI and is constructed of a grey granite-like stone. The inscription states that it is
‘erected to the memory of the fallen of this parish in the Great War 1914-1919’.
The year 1919 represents the signing of the Peace Treaty of Versailles on 28th June of that year.
