Child Injury Prevention Group

Public Heath England (PHE) and the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE) have produced guidance and reports identifying priorities and action areas to support the reduction of unintentional injuries among children.

The purpose of the South Gloucestershire Child Injury Prevention Group is to contribute to the reduction of unintentional injury and injury related deaths in South Gloucestershire among children and young people aged 0-19 whilst encouraging them to have active and fulfilling lives. Also to co-ordinate raising awareness of unintentional injury among families and practitioners working with children, young people and their families through communication and training.
