Trauma Informed Practice
To support trauma-informed approaches, we recommend the Trauma Awareness Bitesize Training, which can be accessed here:
Bitesize Trauma Awareness and Recovery
The following one-page guides and checklists are drawn from the Dignifi Practice Guide, commissioned by South Glos Council and delivered in 2024. They are designed to support professionals by providing clear, practical tools that promote dignity, respect, and trauma-informed practice in all interactions including our reflective practice.
These resources are intended for everyday use – whether you’re preparing for a meeting, reflecting on a case, or looking to strengthen your approach to safeguarding. Each tool is grounded in the principles of person-centred care and offers a quick, accessible way to embed best practice into your work.
For ease the documents have been separated into Management and Practitioners.
